A/R: ABOABO EXTENSION IS A HELL ANYTIME IT RAINS.

The recent heavy downpours have caused the people of Aboabo Extension and Sawaba in the Asokore Mampong Municipality a lot as it floods their houses and destroys their properties.

Residents near Mighty Royal School at Sawaba and Aboabo are prone to flood anytime there is a downpour due to the small size of the bridge in the area. Students who school at Mighty Royal are always late anytime it rains and others find it difficult to come to school because the flood sometimes covers the bridge t help them cross.

People who live around Aboabo Extension homes were flooded and they were forced to pack their belongings outside because the water was filling up their rooms and was also destroying their properties. According to some of the residents they had to stand outside in order not to be carried away or drawn.

Most of the people in the area were complaining about the authorities who usually come there after this manual disaster but they get no results.
