Depression, one of the worst state an individual can be in, forced a student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology to commit suicide on Tuesday evening, July 4, 2023, but fortunately, some of his colleagues helped save his life in an attempt at the last floor of Brunei hostel.
The said student, who is reading Medicine at the University tried to take his life out of depression after battling it for 2 years. According to a goodbye message he sent to all his loved ones, he said he contacted quite several popular tiktokers in Ghana such as Wesley Kesse, Jackline Mensah, and popular business mogul, Pizzaman to seek advice and also get feel loved but some ignored him and others didn’t. He said in his last message that, Pizzaman reached out to him and scheduled a meeting with him just after he texted him.
The reasons why he decided to kill himself according to his last message is that 1. He has sleeping paralysis(finding it difficult to sleep, seeing strange things when you try to sleep, and also feeling the change of environment). 2. He thought there was no reason for him to continue with this life. 3 He said he once saw a demon who spoke to him in his dream.
